Information and T&C

Frontline Living History has full Public Liability Insurance and is DBS checked. Risk Assessments can be supplied in advance on request, and all paperwork will be available for inspection on day(s) of visit.

 

All weapons used as part of the display will be de-activated unless otherwise required.

 

Schools must ensure that staff are present to supervise the session(s).

Schools must provide a secure, lockable venue; and/or staff to supervise the venue while we are absent for any reason; and/or provide any agreed meals or refreshments in the actual venue.

 

Day and Half-Day rates quoted elsewhere on this website may be subject to additional charges depending upon the location and activities planned, such as:

  • Mileage - charged at 45p/mile above a 30 mile radius from  home;

  • Accommodation - if required by distance/travel time from home, accommodation will be charged at cost;

  • Consumables - example food to demonstrate WW1 soldiers' rations - charged at cost (above normal usage). Reproduction paperwork (e.g. letterheads, postcards, forms) can be supplied for schools to copy as required.

The rates quoted elsewhere on this website are for two presenters. If required, additional presenters can be sourced and provided, and a package price will be arranged accordingly.

 

All bookings must be confirmed in writing/by email.

 

Cancellations - Cancellations within two weeks (14 days) of the booking are liable to a charge of 100% of the agreed fee. Cancellations within a month (30 days) of the booking are liable to a charge of 50% of the agreed fee. Should there be an urgent need for you to change the date of the booking, Frontline Living History will be as flexible as possible.

 

On the day, please ensure that parking spaces are reserved as close as possible to the venue, or that consideration is given to accessibility for unloading if parking is elsewhere.
